She found the anesthetic for a while and it was painful to watch. But we called in the vet to put her to her final rest. A little spit fire. but there was nothing we could do. She was going to need a blood transfusion just to possibly make it and my wallet is starting to get moths.

If it gets real bad, sit on a porch, have a glass of iced tea. It won't take the whole sting away, but on a nice sunny day, it'll make you feel a little better.

I hope so too. I knew I would be sad the day I lost her. I just never imagined how painful it really would be. I thought I was prepared. heh.

Goodness... I hear about what happened here and I'm very sorry about it; my biggest condolences to your friend.

But one thing is for sure, he (or is it a she?) lived a happy life with you, I'm sure of it.
